This is What the REAL Rayman 4 Should be Like

If there is going to be a true sequel to the Rayman series, it really ought to retain the elements that made the first two installments so great. Here's what I think should be in the REAL Rayman 4.

I liked rayman 3! But I do think ly should have been in it, and rayman should NOT be with ly cause that just isn't right but I disagree with you, because I loved rayman 3, but ya I sure hope they make a rayman 4

i wouldn't want rayman and leah to have a romantic relationship because then the game would most likely revolve around rayman trying to save leah or possibly playing as leah trying to save rayman and that kind of game is so cliche' i'd like it to be something new like in rayman 1 where he had to break cages to save the electoons. that's just my oppinion though

@SPRLDR oh and the 3rd game wasn't a failure, it added more of dark and somewhat comical atmosphere and even the combat system was better than 1 and second game. True that there could been more improvements but it was far better than the second one. how was it a loss of atmosphere?

@SPRLDR 1. no, i didn't get it backwards. he never worked with the second because he wanted to wait before new generation consle came out before he work with second one but the team went ahead anyways while at the time he was working with a different project. 2. im not making presumptuous statements, im just stating from what i know. 3. energy balls clever? please im just mentioning an example so no im not basing off of that.

Don't let rayman 3 be sucky in your opinion just because of powerups and more industrial looking stuff instead of magical. otherwise you are totally right about rayman 3. Oh BTW you suppose to tell how gameplay felt like, example, controls, level design etc, cuz those are mostly important, plot, effect and graphics are just stuff what suppose to boost game's appearance but most important is those example i just told.

@swordmaster305 No, you've got it backwards. Michel Ancel (the creator of Rayman) designed Rayman 1 & 2, but had nothing to do with 3. If I were you I wouldn't go making such presumptuous statements as 'A true Rayman fan would say the 1st or 3rd are best'. Most fans agree that the first two games are better, and that the third was a disappointment due to its focus on combat and loss of atmosphere. You seem to be basing all your views on the fact that Rayman uses energy balls in R2 – not clever.

@supermancrashin if rayman 2 was about introduction of how he would meet globox and other characters for first time and other characters was from the first to the second one like betalla the fairy for example, he had to fight them hoodlums while rayman 3 is a sequal and continuation of hoodlum fighting with new enemies and what not. then fighting robots and everything else in rayman 4. that would been so much better in my opinion.

@supermancrashin i agree, 3 is so much better than rayman 2. at least in rayman 3 it stayed true to what rayman does, shoots his fist not some energy things. Idk why everyone says rayman 2 was the in which it clearly wasn't. a true rayman fan would say the 1st or 3rd be best. i read somewhere, idk where, that ancel? didn't even work on the second rayman game. he also stated if he did, it would of been different.

You don't want Dark Lums? Don't you know how dangerous they can be? Rayman 2 said that Lums are the building blocks of life in the universe; and having a tainted version of them could bring great possibilities for a threat. Dark Lums are like the cancer of Rayman's would since they can spread and taint other Lums. Since Andre is a sentient Dark Lum that could (in theory) alter the structure of life in the series' universe, he can be a very dangerous threat.
