@LordSP123 kk sick :p. did he actually get kicked out? what i read said that he just didn't get along with band mates it didn't really say that they actually kicked him out. i just listened to the intro now it's pretty cool stuff. i have that album but i dont listen to like half of the songs on it the intros are all too long for me :p

Ok i was just wondering (probably a dim question but i don't know so whatever), is bass guitar hard to play? No experience with it but i'm a half decent player on a standard electric. Thinking of starting so any advice would be ace :)

@TheDominic360 hey whatsup. well if you're switching from guitar to bass then you'll already have a huge advantage. If you're gonna play music like this, then no bass honestly is not that difficult. I actually had a year of guitar and three years of piano experience before I started playing bass. It makes it much easier. There aren't alot of bassists either so it'll make it easier to get in a band. If you do pick up bass, make sure you're good playing with a pick & fingers, not just 1

@chrisistheazn Thanks a lot that's great :) I wasn't sure if it was simply guitar with 2 less strings to worry about, but then i thought it can't be that simple. I know what you mean about there being fewer bassists, i've been trying to start a band with a couple of friends but all we have is a vocalist and 2 guitarists :P One last question, what is the difference between using pick and fingers?

@TheDominic360 Nah it isn't that simple lol but I thought that too at first. Uhh well a pick is going to give you a sound that's more edgy, punchy, kinda in your face. Finger style sounds a little smoother. I also feel like you have more options with tone when playing with your fingers (very deep or very bright). Another advantage to finger style is that you can really play groovy bass lines. You really can't play anything groovy with a pick. I still choose a pick because I play modern rock
