I feel like the left in America hates success. I'm from a refugee family from the Middle East, and my father had to live in meager conditions for a lot of his life. Now he has a great job in Engineering because he worked and studied harder than anyone I know so my family could live comfortably. Somehow that makes him and the rest of us bad people. I recently graduated myself and have gotten a job in Finance. Which means I'm not longer the subject of sympathy, I'll become the subject of scorn.

Capitalism (free market) is not the problem and Government is a necessary expense. The problem is when those who have gained money in Capitalism use it to gain power in Government, and when those who have gained power in Government use it to gain money from Capitalism. This is called Crony Capitalism. Exibit A: Mr. Buffett and Mr. Obama.
