  • You can use the flash wirelessly without buying any kind of flash triggers ?

  • Yes! It's as easy as shown in the tutorial.

  • With the built in camera flash still going off does it have any effect on the exposure?

  • No, the on camera flash is used just to signal the SB-600 to fire, it will have no effect whatsoever on the final image.

  • If I don't want the built in camera flash come out when I use a command mode. How to set it?

  • If you don't want to use the built in camera flash you can either purchase the SU-800 wireless flash trigger for the SB-800 OR buy the SC-17 flash cable to attach to your camera.
