At around 9:14 you are talking about "really small pieces". Well....Revell made these parts way too big, way off scale. If you think these parts are small, try building a WW1 airplane from Eduard, Roden or Gavia.....;-)
Left from the pitot tube is the stick. You are holding it upside down ;-)
But don't worry about building this model. Apart from the clear parts, all goes together quite well. Here is my building review :
