Leonard Bernstein - Rondo for Lifey

Matthew G. age 11, recital 12-6-2008. A couple bad notes and I missed the "high C", but I only had this piece for a month and I just got my braces off 32-days ago. Be kind with the comments :)

@narutoxd002 its grade 7 - it goes up to a high C (2 above middle C) making it more advanced - also the fast tonguing makes it a lot more challenging.

hey mate,

thats awesome that you can play that at your age! im 16 and learnt that piece this year... and it aint easy. a tip for when you stuff up in a performance: try so very hard to not show it in your face or any part of your body... cos people might not notice it until you show it...

Excellent for 11, and i feel your pain with the braces. I'm 17 and im getting them off in a week and then i have to get used to it fast so that i can start practicing my college audition pieces, not good timing.

im a trumpet player myself. and let me tell you that was very very good for an 11 year old. and tip: when you mess up dont make a face after. trust me when i say NO ONE will realize if you act casual. like if professionals mess up what they will do is mess up again on purpose to make it sound like it was right. (although they shouldnt mess up at all. lol.)
