  • This gentleman is obviously a violinist.

  • You are a terrible teacher. You shouldn't be teaching anyone about the cello until you get it figured out on your own. Three vital parts missing in this 'lesson':

    1. G major. You skipped it.

    2. The first octave. If you're going to teach scales you might as well teach both, as they're still in first position. The poor people watching your video might not know how to use the c-string otherwise.

    3. Some theory here: teach the viewer about keys before you teach them about scales.

  • 1:20 Nice intonation, I thought you said D major DOES NOT contain and flats? If you want to work on intonation please play without vibrato when you do your scales to make sure the actual note is in tune.

  • im not trying to be mean, but is that really how you hold the bow?

his hand looks so sloppy ....

  • @eschelar ... It's true, though. F and C are sharped in the D major scale.

  • 28 people are viola players.

  • "The D major scale contains 2 sharps and no flats" 0:31

    WTF?

    That's just silly.

  • His hand talking is bothering me.

  • Hello, my name is Russel Squires and I live in my mom's garage

  • you guys are all haters! Find something better to do.

  • @Cellopro the way he "explains" the scales points to that he is just a cello beginner with really sucky technique...

  • they should call this comedy and it would be ok.

calling him a professional cellist, though, is NOT!
