...there is a mindset among certain individuals who have helped provide plenty of health food stores, vegetarian vegan options - even raw foods. This city if perfect for biking without owning a car - you can even ride to the beach @ Lido which is GORGEOUS! Walking out on unpopulated beaches that are gorgeous is like heaven here...

lots of diversity here... LOVE! BOHEMIAN vibes here, hippie vibes, awesome place to live ha.... go get some lovely chocolates in st armands and eat at drunken poet!!!

yeah they def paint a lifestyle with this video but really it's whatever you want it to be. I feel like being in Sarasota you can just be yourself and be free - theres all sorts of good vibes and interesting people, it's def not like this video it's way better. You got your bug eyed homeless people and hookers but they are apart of it's charm. The restaurants are great, selection of coffee shops - bars...beers! and wines!... lots of things happening locally with live music and art...

Ok its a cool place but these people seem like stuck up pricks. I lived there for 2 years, it was cool but also kind of ghetto in some areas but they would never mention that. I know this because I am one of those young professionals but personally there are much better places in Florida.
