vancouver public library

on saturday while I was walking around vancouver losing 32 hours of sleep that day staying awake, i came across this building, and found out that it is the library..... so i went in, and I was taken away.

I was astounded by the structural design of this building, the 5' cement pillars were amazing as they held up 5 floors of concrete and glass, it had 5 escalators amongst 5 floors, and the one wall was shared by another building, which was amazing.

during the time I shot this video, I had the chance to use a payphone and use the internet to check my emails. which was quite convenient. there is some other small stores inside that you could get memorabilia and a coffe shop nearby while you waited.

all in all ....... this was the most fascinating building I have ever been inside.
