University of Florida students in American Sign Language classes socialized with deaf students from the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind at the Signing Gators Silent Banquet on April 1, 2009. Participants communicated in ASL over dinner, learning new signs and putting what they learned in class into real-life practice.
This video was created for JOU4930, Multimedia Reporting, at the University of Florida, April 2009. Video and audio were shot and edited by Amelia Marty.
I would like to see a few more over-the-shoulder shots for this subject matter. It's a very good choice for video. Nice interview.
