You're mistaking the concept. The imagery isn't cutting down a couple trees. It's cutting down all of the trees for quick profits for the few, leading to long term costs for the many. Where in the video does it say it's limited to Brasil? On a map they show South America but most of the images are from North American forests. Nowhere do they mention the Rain Forest. If so point this out to me. Also notice my comments are about North America where I'm familiar with the situation. You really need to pay attention before making incredibly stupid comments.

No it isn' t true and nowhere does it say it's limited to Brasil. Sustainable logging is not detrimental to the forests or to wildlife. I've spend a lot of time in the forests and the biggest threat is FIRE. The fires in the western US are horrible and for the most part preventable. The biggest villian in this whole saga is the Sierra Club. They oppose all efforts to clean and thin our forests so they can be sustainable. The Sierra Club is not what they claim to be. Learn about foresty.

The biggest threat to forests in North America is FIRE and not commercial logging. This video is garbage. They are trying to tug at your hear strings. Don't buy it for a second. Sustainable logging is good for the forests. It reduces the accumulation of flammable material on the forest floors. Maybe the clowns who produced this video should do another one showing animals being burned alive in hideous forest fires. Whoever you are ...777 this video is absolute shit, pure propoganda.
