@spider853 Actually no it doesn't, the kinect has much much less points to record, this thing shows quality right down to creases in cloth and even texture of skin

@moheyelbaz it might be done using a projected fringe pattern, and a web-cam.
(ie: no laser).

it was done by fast laser scanning and this is nothing amazing. try scanning in pockets and in deep hole where lasers and lights cant get to.
