Thanks for posting. My two year old saw her grandfather's grandfather clock over Christmas. We wound it together and it made quite an impression on her inquisitive mind. She asked if I could show her another one. This was perfect.

Another excellent video. I just purchased a Howard Miller Grandfather, and am looking forward to having it add life to my home. One question....how often does these require maintenance?

This is supposed to be a video about how to wind a grandfather clock. You spent the first 2 and 1/2 minutes of you 4 minute (and 11 seconds) video talking about the clock. the second half was very relevant. The first half was a complete waste of time. It's a goood video but brevity is a virtue.
It needs to be oiled and cleaned every 3 to 5 years depending on your conditions.
After that, I think the bushings are the most likely to need replacing after 10 years.
What kind of clock did you get ? Post a video and give a tour !
