Rose Petals to the Bed

Thank you to the Inn of Sedona & the maids who cleaned up my mess.
The night that I proposed to my fiance, I let her stay in the bathroom & take a bubble bath while I spread the rose petals on the bed & made a path from the bathroom to the bed. I bought about 70roses, stripped the petals from them & packed them in gallon ziploc bags & kept them in the fridge until we left to go to Sedona. After I finished I took a few petals since I had so many, told her to close her eyes, then went into the bathroom & dropped the petals on the bubblebath & let her feel romanced. This could probably be done w/ less roses because I didn't realize how many petals come from a single rose. This project took about 10hrs to prepare since removing that many rose petals takes time.
P.S. When you lay on rose petals, they tend to break & then stain the sheets as if you have spilled wine. I'm not sure how long the stains remain since this was done to hotel sheets. BTW leave your maid a fat tip for cleaning the petals up.

@StockyDoccy - That's not so easy to spot without special lighting so guests can get away with that. It is the visible stains that counts as other guests who see any stains are not going to stay in that room and even worse, they will leave a bad review on those booking sites, blog posting or video upload on YouTube.

Some hotels zap their guests for stains and with
your credit card on file, it is very easy to do so.

@nyhtml I was lucky in this case & they never charged my card. It's been over 2yrs since my wife & I did this. I think we left a tip as well for the maid who had to clean up our mess. They'd have a very hard time justifying charging our card 2yrs later as well.
