Odd. All the bad comments when all this video shows are cars passing by and people going about their business. Did I miss the part where somebody got hacked to death?
And oh yes, ALL of South Africa was so nice under white rule. All the talk of slums and shacks and townships under white rule were pure fantasy. Black rule had absolutely NOTHING to fix.

i went to school in Mayfair my time was WHITES only but we did have arabs on my school loads of them lebanese things then guess would be better then today ;)

I came over from the UK in 1982 and stayed in Ponte for 7 months, and at 12 years old, I was in heaven! Apart from the odd paedo hanging out at the video arcades (Anyone remember Ally's Palley in Highpoint, that had Dragon's Lair?) it was perfectly safe to walk around. I spent many new year's eves there, until about 1992, when it started getting too dodgy. I lived there again in 1994 and it wasn't too bad in the day. But now... fucking heartbreaking.
