TRA - Obelisk of Khamoon Artifact #4

The last artifact in the Egypt level Obelisk Of Khamoon in the remake of Tomb Raider 1 - Tomb Raider Anniversary.
This level doesn't have any relics.

aww this artefact frustrated me :/

lara dont come to high and so she cant grab the ledge. what should i do? i ve really test everything... long rope, short rope.. *sigh*

Pause around 0:48 and 0:49 and see exactly which height the rope is set to. It's a little bit above a line.

Admittedly, it's a hard artifact to get, especially since when you die you have to replay a whole section. Therefore, don't be afraid to swing one additional time, so that you're well prepared to do the jump and know when to let go, rather than immediately jumping and taking more risks than necessary. :)

I remember activating that switch in the very beginning when I first played this game. It turned Obelisk into one of my most hated levels, until I realized that it didn't do anything to help me. So I just stopped using it. XD

Great video! I've been stuck on this bit for the last couple of days. I could never get the height right but your vid shows how far up the rope you have to be before you start swinging. I got it first time after watching the video.

i love this game but the dodgy camera angles & grappling hook is rly giving me a lot of grief...(especially the atlantis level - had to use a fly hack to get through! doh! ) :(
