Thanatos Story (ToW: ND2) [Tales of the World Narikiri Dungeon 2]

Translated by a patch I found on the net.
This is the story that molded Thanatos into who he is, and what he desires. And how he returned in Tales of the World 3.

Truly a sad tale. I wanted to cry after I beat him... (If you imagine the emotion behind it, you might cry too. DX)

Yes, these are spoilers.

The game is: Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 2.

Thanatos is a frikkin' tough boss. Especially cause you're tired after beating Cless, Stahn, and Reid...

[Thanatos Move List]
Shadow Whisper: His default attack. Usually sends waves of these at you. They're cast like double demon fang, but he can do as many as he likes. To avoid it, us an ariel attack like tempest. [note: I noticed it cast like a regular demon fang in ND3]

Shadow Needle: Spikes out hairs to attack in all directions. Temporary invulnerability to techniques. Made to counter close attacks. Also may cause dizziness. Can be avoided by running. Best to block though. [Note: His default A attack in ND3]

Dragon Tail: Usually when you gang up on him, he teleports. Afterwich he will usually cast this spell. He stabs his hair into the ground and summons them up like spikes. To avoid, run toward him and past him if you can. Or run backward. DO NOT TRY TO JUMP THEM! It's futile.

Dark Force: His ultimate attack. Uses it when he's weakening. Usually fired after teleporting as his secondary line of defense aside from Dragon Tail. He fires a beam exactly like Dhaos laser, but more powerful and dark elemented. It continues to hurt you until it narrows itself out of existance. [Note: In ND3 it is weakened and blanks out the instant it's shot. X:]

Mhm. But in ND3, Thanatos' "dark force" was turned into a "dark elemental" so it's useless on Jabby.

I suggest a spam of dragon tails and wind cutters. x3

... I actually used Thanatos in another video aswell. >x>;; But not so epical. Sadly.

Thanatos isn't much for Meleeing in ND3 as he is here.

Well believe me when I say this. If you watch a Narikiri Dungeon 3 video. That's not even close to what the real one is like.

He's about 2 times faster and can spam shadow till no end.

Also, his Dark Force does "charring" damage like Dhaos Laser.

And he is invincible when using Shadow Needle; an arte that was changed to his basic attack in ND3.

As a basic attack, it doesn't make him invincible for long. But here he does it if you get up close... >___O;;;
