Ahhh I remember this! I did a tour of Europe this past winter, starting in London. LOVED the Underground, best metro system I rode. My friends and I especially loved the announcement "This is a Piccadilly line service to...Cockfosters." We thought the name Cockfosters was humorous. Someday I'm going back...and I'm riding the Piccadilly from Heathrow to Cockfosters.

@luerexbob You know it's really odd but I could have sworn that the one year that I was there that there was actually an announcement that did say it terminated at Hainault. But the ones I've listened to recently have the announcement you listed. Then again on the one trip I was half asleep most mornings catching the tube LOL!

@mnmusicman99 LOL! I joke about the announcements all the time. I used to travel there a lot from the states. I used the Central Line from Holland Park to Tottenham Court Rd so often that the termination point got burned into my head. It's now a running joke with me. When I went with my cousin a couple years back as we boarded that line I looked over at her and said in a conversationally silly tone, "This train terminates at Hainault. *pause* Via Newbury Park".
