HAHA, I love the compliant about cops using technology from the person sitting at their computer watching YouTube videos. What a hoot. Like only xxtimstewartxx should have technology. OK, take every PC out of every workplace. I don't want you sitting around using technology. Get out that pencil and paper and WORK for a living. What the hell is the problem with you people? Cops have been running your plates for decades. Whatever it is that you're doing that makes you paranoid, stop it!

Ever watch "Parking Wars" on A&E? They use similar technology to get hits on parking violations. As long as you're not doing anything wrong and your stickers are up to date, there's not much to worry about...
But it does still take a job away from a cop or parking enforcement employee.

i'm sorry but id rather have a cop work for my tax dollars, now sit around and use technology like that, it's bad enough there's a red light camera at every intersection in suffolk county ..... not that i totally oppose it, but still wtf man
