@SomethingReal1119 Funny thing, you said that Plummer's accent as Nabokov is "a cross between formal British and French with maybe a wee bit of German thrown in for good measure". Actually, Nabokov studied for several years French literature in Trinity College, Cambridge and amongst other countries he lived in Germany. So, Plummer's accent might not be realistic or anything, but it is possible that he based his acting in the Russian's life background (even if he failed :P )
@petesherratt How funny! I was just coming here to write a very similar comment about how Plummer's Russian accent needs a bit of work, to say the least!!
