There were a lot of bands called 'The Mark IV' in the 60's.
Note the Moby Grape poster at 0:57. That album came out in 1967,

@rjherie That's possible, or since this was intended to be a music video they might have just intended the soundtrack to be the bands record, which would have been a typical low budget option at the time. Roll the film and play the record at the same time at a public screening.

@MopTopMike No KMBC is in Kansas City

A date clue: the "Balmy and Clod" issue of Mad was from June 1968, according to Wikipedia.

It would have been nice to see this with the soundtrack. The soundtrack was probably on a separate reel of audiotape or 16mm "magnetic film" (think 16mm audiotape with sprocket holes in it) that would be synced with this.
I recognized scenes shot in Loose Park and in front of William Rockhill Nelson gallery of art, both in Kansas City, Missouri.
Why have you projected the film at faster than normal speed?

@ronslog I thought it might be 18fps, but a few of the shots seem to be shot with the intention of the fast-motion effect ala "The Monkees" intro. Or at least, that was my assumption. I should try projecting it at 18fps and see how it looks. (The video would have considerably more flicker, though.)

I looked up "The Mark IV" on Wikipedia, but I'm not sure if it's them... anyone?
