My Dad Chapter Seven (Part IV)

"Thank you, Kimberley," said Mr Gomez, tears rolling down his cheeks. "Your wisdom is beyond your years. You remind me of Selena in so many ways, and I hope that you keep her close to your heart forever, because you were a part of her just as she is a part of you."
I walked up to him and threw my arms around him, hugging my grandfather. He embraced me back, and just the simple gesture told me that my Mom had loved me all along, perhaps not as much as my Dad had, but in the same ways as he had, unconditionally, irrevocably, and that was all that mattered to me.

I know this part was really short but the YouTube description box is NEVER enough for my chapters anymore! I want to take this story in a whole new direction, and I've always been told to write what I feel, but I'm not sure. Are you guys interested in, like, fantasy type stuff? Sort of like the end of the world? I'm trying not to give it away, but I want you guys to know what I mean. Could you either leave a comment or message me about your thoughts? Because I'm not sure how long I can hold it off until I explain what's going on with Nick. Anyways, thank you so much for the wonderful comments I've been getting recently and for your continuing support (you know who you are) which means that I am a more confident person and writer.
