  • Wow, how much did they weigh? Looks like they weigh at least 50 pounds!

  • altogether they weighed 300 lbs. that's why our axel bar bent. we're trying to find something stiffer than an inch thick steel bar. our farthest launch was 137 ft.

  • Well, my trebuchets axle is a hollow steel bar, with a solid iron bar in the center. Can hold up to 400-500 pounds.

    I'd love to get a few of those tractor wieghts, that would really make my treb launch a lot further.

    Great job on making that trebuchet!
