It's a brilliant song, I love Incubus, but the video has nothing to do with a megalomaniac (someone mad with power), it's just a fight. I think it's just to show off someone's animation techniques.

I think it is about megalomaniacs. Sasuke (later in the series) joins orochi to get MORE POWER. Gaara's goal is to rid the earth of all people except for himself. He will then have COMEPLETE POWER.
