A band may be keen on a certian genre BUT IF their identity clashes with everything the genre stands for.

Does that make them posers or just confused artist?

Its the old debate of actual method vs genre idenity.

Furthermore. I personally say this band is typical Melodic Deathmetal. Until I take at the lyrics.

There is no identity clashes with anything. They never claimed black metal as a genre.

I am not going to continue to throw pointless threats or arguments, since we are clearly both adults, lets begin to act as them. I uploaded this video years ago, before I understood "black metal". Currently, black metal is one of the only genres I listen to, with the acception of guilty pleasures. You also seem to have favorited videos from The Civil Wars, to which I will comment and say, we stand on some form of common ground.
