THE HOLLYBERRIES (I Wanna Go) Surfin with Santa Claus Little Girls Surfing Beach Boys Party

Reminiscent of classic BEACH BOYS and JAN & DEAN recordings, but featuring 1960s GIRL GROUP-style female lead vocals, this 2009 release has been called everything from a "fun little slice of holiday bubblegum surf" to a "new Christmas classic!! Clean, tasty and fun, fun, fun!" Christmas Music website, HipChristmas.com selected the tune as one of the few new "gems" of the 2009 holiday season, labeling it as an "irresistible, effervescent piece of pop." Popular with both kids and adults!

"(I Wanna Go) Surfin' With Santa!" was written, arranged and produced by KIP BROWN (www.facebook.com/kipbrown), a founding member of one of L.A.'s original punk bands, SHOCK ("This Generation's on Vacation"), and a longtime member of THE LITTLE GIRLS, a Southern California pop outfit perhaps best known for their rollickin' hit, "Earthquake Song."

On "(I Wanna Go) Surfin' WIth Santa!," Kip played all the guitars, sleighbells, and glockenspiel (!), and contributed most of the backing vocals to the tune, ably supported by fellow Little Girls bandmates CARON MASO MURRAY and MICHELE MASO TINSLEY on lead vocals, plus TRAVIS RAMIN (drums), JOHN BAKER (bass, backing vox), STEVE PELUCCA (saxes), and CHAS FERRY (Santa).

"(I Wanna Go) Surfin' with Santa!" sports a very cool cover design by MARK LONDON, who is perhaps best known for his work with former Beach Boy BRIAN WILSON, which includes both the CD and DVD graphics for Wilson's legendary "SMiLE" release.

THE HOLLYBERRIES have also released a follow-up to "(I Wanna Go) Surfin' with Santa!" entitled "(Let's Have A) Surfin' Christmas Holiday!", available NOW only thru iTUNES and AMAZON.COM (MP3)!!!
