Transgender Mayor Stu Rasmussen Censured Over Clothing

Via a 8/4/2009 news report from NBC 2 in Florida, Silverton, Oregon's transgender mayor, Stu Rasmussen, was censured Monday evening in a split vote by the Silverton City Council. Mayor Rasmussen came under fire recently after he wore an open-back bathing suit, mini skirt and high heels when he went to speak before a group of local kids. (8/4/2009)

The people of this city voted this thing into office, they deserve everything they get. If you don't want creeps like this to have access to your kids while you're at work DON'T MAKE HIM MAYOR. The people of Silverton, Oregon care nothing for their community or their children. The guy has TITS, you vote him into office, then you complain about what he's wearing? This has got to be the record for mass stupidity in one town.

Nope. The hormones are taken for a variety of medical conditions. Testosterone is taken for everything from osteoperosis to anemia mitigation. The control group in the initial study was all people who were taking hormones for reasons unrelated to gender identity disorder. NONE of them had the targeted brain structure at standard female size. 66% of the transgender people measured had sizes consistent with their perceived gender (rather than their birth gender). So basically you're lying.

@Hexydezimal Care to provide links to back that up? No I didn't think you could. No one has ever found a "feminised" brain in a male baby's head. Genital tissue is extremely sensitive to hormones. It is impossible that ONLY the brain could show similarities to the opposite sex and the genitalia is indictive of a healthy, non-intersexed baby. Transsexuals take cross-sex hormones to alter their brains. Look for yourself at Youtube vids by them which talk about congnitive changes.

The reason stu is getting into trouble is beacuse of mr Hector former mayor he and his rich friends are angry old men who have nothing better to do than be haters stu is the only republican I voted for and it will stay that way!

@MrNaviWarrior Homosexualty also used to be listed as a mental health issue, but that changed. People recieved the education that they needed. The same thing is going to happy to trans people. Also, im so happy trans people are protected  from discrimination under the HRTO and HTC under the ground of sex and that we can sue people. This is a form of discrimination what is happening in to that person in the video.
