Because mostly impoverished people think that obtaining those things is the only imperative ideal in life as opposed to gaining and education and productively contributing to society.

no thats there way if showing that that they have overcome poverty and the negatives of society and they have been shown to do that by the media i mean how are the ppl in upscale homes any better they buy big homes build big fences and live in "ristricted" areas so really is it so bad that they buy a little bit of"bling" it's just showing there escape from a harsh reality
