Greenpeace activists deployed a massive banner reading "World's Dirtiest Oil: Stop the Tar Sands" and attempted to temporarily stop the flow of toxic waste water into a 2km wide tailings lake used by Syncrude's Tar Sands operation in Northern Alberta.

@anarchosolar thomas edison worked in the field of electrical inventions, of course he wanted electricity to trump oil, and when you talk about electric cars you seem to forget that other then the fuel the entire car is made with fucking petroleum, the keyboard you are typing on is made with petroleum, solar panels are made and shipped with petroleum and coal your shoes, your clothes, the paint on your walls, and all the wiring in your electrical devices are made with oil, your a fucking clown.

EV battery development is another. Solar and Wind is another. Sustainable and ecological building design and construction is another.
