West Bengal, an Eastern Indian state , has not advanced much regarding application of modern farming technology to improve its Agro-output unlike northern state like Punjab, Haryana etc.
The vedio shows a marginal farmer using his bullock driven primitive plough to tilt his small piece of farm land.

  • They must create some cooperative type agriculture like in europe.

    Agriculture is the backbone of india.

  • The reason for farmers holding small plots of land is because of population.If a farmer splits 50 acres among his 5 sons,the sons cant afford to buy modern equipments for their 10 acre plots.

    Things are changing for the better but it is too little too late.

    FERTILITY RATE SOUTH INDIA - 1.9 NORTH INDIA - 3.5 Majority of men in the HINDI BELT still think with their DICKS.

  • Humans have farmed like this for thousands of years, and while its nice to have technology its easier said then done in the worlds poorest region.

    This method of farming...still works.
