@LiquidEdge41568 -- Just as long as you understand your ass is owned by the Coal Company. You're a peon whose bought the American Dream Fable, hook-line-and-sinker: Gimme MINE! Screw YOU. You don't care to understand the bigger issues of corporate gangsterism, environmental damage, social costs of communities destroyed by political & economic misfeasance, summed up by the adage, Privatized Profits paid by Socialized Costs. That's predatory capitalism.

@LiquidEdge41568 stop being the sucker of your company and then you'll become credible. Your stupidity blinds to you to the fact that there are other ways of getting energy without destroying the environment and that no only hippy cares about our planet.

Unions protect LAZY workers. If one man is lazy the rest cant work for him. Also our companies PAY US very well and take care of us. I collected over 1400 in bonus's just this month for vacation. Money they didnt owe me, they just gave it to me to make my familys life better. I will fight you tree huggers till the day I die. And I will stand behind my employer 100%. Stop using power if you are against coal. Then you'll become credible. Stop destroying our livelihood and way of life hippy!

Lays out the situation clearly.
Americans, silence is complicity.
Clearly we need to switch to nuclear energy as quickly as we can! No, wait, that's not the answer. We need to rely on fracking of gas and oil! No, wait again, that's not the answer either. How about cutting back on electricity use by turning off your computer NOW !!!

@numbnuts234567 The electric bill at our house is about $25 per month, even in hot summer months in Kentucky. We have energy efficient "Energy Star" appliances and cool our house with shade trees and a ceiling fan. We use CFL lighting and are switching to LED lighting. Conservation and efficiency is the answer to reducing energy consumption - smart businesses like Wal Mart have figured this out. We now have a school in Bowling Green KY that is a net zero energy user.
