This actually wasn't intended for YouTube. I made the video to get a feel for iMovie on my Mac since I had never used the program before. It was just by chance that I decided to upload it and the popularity of it was more that I could have asked for. I'm willing to take the heat for the credits and use of subtitles considering people all over the world have been touched by the story. That's all I really care about anyway!

Don't know why people give you a hard time for using credits. Seems especially important to credit the music and I was wanting to know the location so I watched credits. Having a Mac myself, I totally get wanting to experiment with iMovie. Thanks for sharing this.

I get that the point is to display human altruistic actions but wouldn't it have been better (at least from the squirrel's perspective) if the campus was never built there at all and remained the deciduous forest that it was for millions of years?

This situation is not unlike that of a landlord who cuts off water for his tenants, provides them a bucket to collect rainwater, and then expects to be loved for it.
