I was running audio in the live truck at a live KMID broadcast of the Midland Rockhounds and Oakland A's. I needed to plug my headset in so I could hear my director, Erik, at the time, and when I plugged in the headset all the communications including IFBs and headset went dead. This is why the talent never knows when they are up. It will still go down as one of the funniest nights of my life.

  • You do have some funny videos here, but you should only be laughing at yourself. It was all your fault. Do you still have a job?

  • I was working at a competing station in 157 when this happened. My first reaction was, "Oh, my God. Those poor people!" It's funny now, but it'll easily go down as one of the most memorable moments in Odessa/Midland Market history.

  • Every time I look at it I still Laugh.Again it was above par for the engineers at that station.

  • There's no excuse for your grammatical errors and double negatives and yet, there they are. Lighten up and don't let your personal issues cloud the fact that that was hilarious!

  • Dude, a little googling would tell you this TV station is dma 157 for eff's sake. OF COURSE you're going to get cheap and inexperienced in market #157... You're going to get it a lot higher markets than that for that matter. Everyone has to start somewhere, be nice.

  • That random elephant was kinda funny too.

  • No one who was involved can forget that experience. It was an ENGINEERING nightmare, but intensely funny. I couldn't believe the engineers who set it up were still working the next day.
