Main Line Return to Swanage

This two-hour DVD tells the story of the first trains from London to Swanage in many years. The Purbeck Pioneer on 1 April 2009 was the first passenger train between London and Swanage since 1972. Hauled by DB Schenker Class 66 66152 this was a historic moment for Swanage Railway. On month later, the first steam-hauled train between London and Swanage since 1967 was brought in by 34067 Tangmere.
