  • @zigity12 What in the world make you think that baptism and confession is not scriptural? Wasn't it Jesus that said to ".. go out and baptise them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit" (Mt 28:19) And what did Jesus mean when he told Peter, " And whose soever sins ye retain are retained and whose soever sins you forgive will be forgiven"? (John 20:23) Sounds like confession to me!

  • Bulliten board are a great place for tracts

  • Thanks for watching? Its six minutes of my life lost to such banality. This is not the Gospel. This is human hubris. Thank God for this priest and his witness to Christ. Praised be Jesus Christ!

  • the early church did not deferr to scripture. the council of jerusalem did not refer to scripture when it reached its decision about the gentiles. Church father s are the same way. there eas no new testament written till 14 years after the crucifixion , so the only scripture that could be deferred to was the OT

  • sola scriptura is a man made tradition. No one in the early church preaced that doctrine, especually paul who is erroneously siad to have created it. bible charistians need to read 2nd thess 2:15 to see what else ha said. All protestant churchs weref ounded by men. Christ etasablished ONE church ,not churches of men

  • amen brother Trish and other bible christians just want to fill their congregations.

  • thanks. God Bless

  • Good job OneTrueChurch for defending the Church Christ himself established...the Catholic Church. Your efforts are to be commended!

  • Catholics know that Protestants like R9 will also use the following verses to condemn Christ's Apostolic Tradition: Mt15:3, Mk7:9, Col2:8. However, you should remember the following verses: 1Cor11:2, 2Thess2:15, 2Thess3:6. Also, the following verses supporting faith plus works: Jam2:24, Jam2:26, Gal5:6, 1Cor13:2, Jn14:15, and Mt19:16-17. Also, read the essay written by Cardinal Newman in 1884 entitled "Inspiration in its Relation to Revelation." Newman, a convert, corrects what R9 misstates.

  • Catholics, know the following verses to support Bible+Tradition to answer the likes of R9: 1Cor11:2, 2Thess2:15, 2Thess3:6, Jn21:25, Mk13:31, Acts20:35, 2Tim1:13, 2Tim2:2, 2Pet1:20, 2Pet3:15-16, 1Pet1:25, Rom10:17, 1Cor15:1-2, Mk16:15, Mt23:2-3. Also, consult St. Athanasius (360 AD) "Four Letters to Serapion of Thmius 1, 28." And Origen (230 AD) "Fundamental Doctrines 1, preface, 2." The quotes from the Church fathers are too long to post here, but are perfect. Read Dei Verbum and Card. Newman.
