  • i can only hear through my headphones in farm pod and not through my computer

but in garageband i can hear through my computer

what do i need to do?

  • @benderbrunit22 set the UX2 to be your sound card in your Mac's system preferences menu under "sound". Next, plug your speakers directly into the UX. That way, all audio from that point on will be routed through the Line 6 device.

  • hey i just got the line6 ux2 and it came with some software is the ( riffworks and reason adapted) how do u use those software? thanks.

  • @CTROCK Reason Adapted is a virtual synth application that represents a virtual studio rack. You can use it in conjunction with certain recording softwares as a rewire tool. Check out the Propellerhead website for more information about Reason.

  • @CTROCK Riffworks is a loop based recording application. Google Sonoma Wireworks to see specifically how it works.

  • everything works great but when i switch my input and output to ux2 my garage band shows that everything is playing but i cant hear anything until i switch it back.

  • @o0snape0o don't forget that if your UX2 is your main Input/Output device then you will need to plug headphones or speakers into it to hear recording playback.

How can i plug my speakers directly into my UX2 when my speakers are internal on my macbook pro?

  • why don't you show us how to install the damn thing. Its confusing as fuck for a mac. You already have it installed. shit.

  • Thanks this helped

  • Hi, i've connected my Keyboard into the line inputs. Im using garageband to record and have changed the sound inputs and outputs to UX2. However, when i play the keyboard, garageband does not read my keyboard. there is no signal. why is this so?

  • Is there any way to make the sound come out of my built in speakers on my mac? If not, is there a way to be able to hear sounds coming from my computer and also hear my guitar through headphones? I'm so confused. All this tech shit confuses me.

  • That's rubbish! I have an iMac 27" and my UX2 works fine with POD Farm 2.5, with the sound coming through Bose speakers via the Mac.

  • the guitar sounds HORRIBLE

  • If I already registered my UX2 to PC will it still let me install on to Mac as im just moving on to one now.

  • @5:25 Or you could hit shift-command-N. I wouldn't have bothered learning that either, but I work on an aging Macbook and the mouse button was giving out, so I learned every keyboard shortcut I possibly could to minimize the need for a functioning mouse. Also, option-command-N brings up that new track menu in case you want a MIDI or electric guitar track.
