Town Hall - Birmingham, England - 2/26/08
Sorry I missed the very beginning, but my perseverance in holding the camera for the duration of this glorious rock-out (when I just wanted to be air-drumming and playing piano on the backs of the strangers in front of me!) should pay off -- it's a seven-minute version that easily rivals or smashes any of the song's previous iterations. And there are some significant tricks up the sleeves of E and The Chet, as you'll see. Without spoiling it all, let's just say E gives everyone a live taste of the instrument that began the musical career of little Mark Oliver Everett way back in a Virginian basement.
And you can hear the beginning of "Bus-Stop Boxer" at the end, but I needed to put the camera down and just soak it in for a bit.
They did this version when i saw them at glasgow! It blew my mind when e and the chet switched places mid solo! Unbelievable!

oh man, cant wait to see them in Minneapolis! I knew I'd spoil the surprise by watching this, but I couldnt resist. Every one of their tours is different, but one thing is always the same - E rocks
