Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda, founder of Yoga in Daily Life system explains according to ancient indian tradition the meaning of the mala and how to use it ,also why using a meditation shawl and how to prepare for meditation.

A mala ( garland ) is a set of 108 beads commonly used to count mantras during meditation. Swamiji recommends to use a rudraksha beads mala because of its great benefit also on the body.

  • This is a fact that most malas contain 108 beads. these mala beads are used by Buddhist and Hindu religion for counting the scared mantras.
