On December 11, 2006, MISSISSAUGAWATCH tried to convince The Council of the City of Mississauga to postpone passing The Corporation's Violence, Vandalism and Bullying Policy.

On December 13, 2006, this policy was passed by unanimous vote. At the same council meeting, Mississauga's Video Surveillance Policy was approved without a single word of debate.

There were problems with that policy as well --as numerous Freedom of Information requests confirmed.

Both these policies are now one year "older". Oh wellllllll....

City of Mississauga ban youth/minors typically 30 days for skateboarding in the City's underground parking lot. One incident four 11/12 year olds or that offense.

What would citizens/youth get for DUCT TAPING? Option 3: for serious and/or repeat incidents: - suspension and ban from some or all facilities for up to one year

[OR] Option 4: for any actions that cause grievous risks to personal safety of staff and/or patrons - suspension and ban from all facilities for one year and up to 10 years
