LBJ was a snake right from the time he started to crawl.

LBJ didn't 'do' it, people.

However, he may have been convinced erroneously that the assassination was necessary for national security. I'd guess that around Feb. 1968 (after Tet), he realized the military guys were wrong, and that he (LBJ) let it happen. Probably led to his death.
