'Hamshushalayim' event, Jerusalem's 3 (cold) White Nights in December, focused at
The Bloomfield Science Museum on activities highlighting science and gender issues, in order to raise awareness of the under- representation of women in science and technology.
The program included:
• "How Many Women Scientist does it take to make a Cup of Coffee??" a satirical show presented by The "Slaughtered Cow" group of the Incubator Theatre.
• Speed Dating with women Scientists.
• TWISTY: A conversation with TWISTY, a virtual witty puppet about women and science.
• Test yourself -- computer workstation that reveals our unconscious thoughts about gender issues.
• Museum tour highlighting groundbreaking scientific discoveries by women.
• Polling Station: What's your opinion? Visitors expressed their opinions, prejudices and stereotypes about women in science.
