Its really a bit disappointing if you read the book first. There's too much alteration in the original story line. But quite frankly i think almost all movie adaption or TV series goes like this.

In YouTube videos of Terry Goodkind interviews made years before LotS, he pronounces Kahlan as "kay-lyn" just as the series does. Therefore, it's definitely not "kah-lan" or "kaw-lyn" or anything like that

I love this show! cinematography is beautiful, gorgeous New Zealand. Actors are eye candy, i love the outfits, It's better than Xena or Hercules, Harry Potter for the adults. Drop dead gorgeous actresses. Too bad they are not giving this show a chance. It's not shown on too many stations, the time slot are bad, no fix time, so it's hard to get a following. I suspect this is like BattleStar Galactica or Farscape or Star Trek.. Awesome shows that they cancel. The fans demand it back.
