I built a much smaller crane that could lift the Lego 8110 unimog set. It used the winch from the unimog and one M motor for the hook and one of the old studded turntables and an old 9v motor with a worm gear drive to swivel it around

i was watching waiting for that rope to come off. not that i wanted it to but i knew it would. i thought you would have experience with lego ropes, they usually come off at the slightest pull. you should have strengthened the connection to the boat. anyway it was 2 years ago, i just watched this video. keep the lego MOC's comming.
