very cute..i love how when the deer starts paying attention to her she just acts all inocent and wags her tail. She is beautiful, I have one too and they just make the best pets. So intelligent (although sometimes that can work against you lol!)

was more aimed towards the comments saying this was what they were bred to do and commenting on how they want their dogs to get to this level of training.

Please post an explanation video! I have a half boarder collie half german shepherd with a load of potential but I don't know how to get to THAT level of training

soo cute! :D I got a Border Collie to, and he loves to herd sheeps, he is verry good to :)

She is adorable. This is so cute!! Love it!!

my dog does the same thing but when the deer starts to come towards him he runs back home

hate to break it to you but this isnt really "herding" behavior. I work stockdogs regularly and this video does not exhibit any charactoristics other than normal dog hunting/stalking behavior that any breed can/will show in a similar situation.

@CarMelknl Ha Ha, no kidding. Yes, I'm well aware of the fact that she is not herding, don't worry, it was meant as a joke.

Do not any of you realize how dangerous this is for this poor young dog. It could mean that this dog could die! Take it from me, this is not a smart move. Sorry, but that's the truth. I love my BCs too much to ever put a puppy in this dangerous position.

Thanks for your comment, believe it or not I agree with your comment about the dangers of allowing a dog around deer. I really dont recommend it. Although these are wild animals, they stay around here constantly and are use to this dog. I kept her on leash out here for a while when I first got her. They are so comfortable around her now I actually have photos of her and the deer lying next to each other!
In this video she was actually out there first and they came up to her.
