I had the honor of being one of Dr. Edwards students at UC Berkeley and was so impacted by his views that I took several of his classes. He truly paved the way many of us now view the business and sociology of sports as well as the treatment of athletes. 25 years later, I still have my notes and his autobiography, The Struggle That Must Be.
