They can claim to be non profitable but it could be that the other businesses who may be providing products to social enterprises are making a profit. This leads to in essence a pro social model of enterprise working with and within the current anti-social economic system where profits over people will always win.
Social enterprises are an excellent example of grass-root people projects but are subject to the bad apples further up the economic tree.

Changing the things we don't like about the world...I like that definition of Social Entrepreneurship. Helping remove the limitations that hold people back is another definition I like for social business.
