Shot in 1080P @ 24fps on the new Canon EOS 60D. This is a demonstration video of super shallow depth-of-field achieved with a wide open aperture @ f/1.2 on the Nikon NIKKOR 50mm f/1.2 AI-S lens. Focus pull demo.
im literally just learning off tutorials how to use the 60d and was wondering how you did that. What settings are you using to achieve that depth of field especially with such ease.
@cosimolomedico You require an extreme fast lens for best results, ie. aperture < f/1.8. With this kind of lens, and the camera/lens set to f/1.8 or faster, only very small areas of the image are in focus at any one time so it's just a matter of focusing.
im thinking of buying a camera like this
to get this effect what lens would i need? really don't know much about it all so if you could help id be grateful
thanks
