NICE 4EVER

@2ndpinkberlin The feelings, not the instruments create the atmosphere.

I love Moonspell's early stuff and the new stuff. This mid era where they experimented I didn't care for. Moonspell actually started out as somewhat a folk metal band. Their "Under The Moonspell" EP is black/folk metal and incorporated arabian/egyptian/middle eastern elements into quite raw black metal well before even bands like Melechesh started doing that.

@filth69ify1 Rebecca Black says hi :)

@Draclord35 they got more brutal, yes... but the spell which you could feel from the older albums is away.

first album Wolf Heart is the Best of all.

@Draclord35 shit... *NOW (and not know)
-
@rjacobsd1973 The first album is more of a mix between, black, death & gothic IMO... And I don't think they change to make money, they just wanted to do something new (and know they are more brutal than ever... just check some song from the last album).

Who gives a sh*t what the genre is you either like 'em or you don't. Thumbs up if you still like Moonspell no matter what genre they are in!

There seems to be an argument as to whether or not this is metal. In my opinion, metal has little to do with the way it sounds. What makes a song metal is the integrity behind it. I think that moonspell is very metal. Take a band like Slipknot for instance. They may have qualities that make them SOUND like metal, but there is no soul or integrity. It's just empty music used to make money. Moonspell are passionate artists, and that's what keeps them metal. Just my opinion.
