what about members of the militay? assuming they would be the first to have chips or bar codes placed on them, the government would most likely order them to recieve this and denying this would be considered disobeying a lawful order from an officer(article 15) mostlikely ending in jail time and forceably being made to recieve a chip or tattoo how would they be able to get away from this?

@thirdeaglebooks The Revelation of John was given in signs and is to be interpreted spiritually. The Mark of God is thinking & acting in accordance to God's Law. The mark of the Beast (government) is the opposite. All but few have already received the mark of the beast. All but a few have disregarded God's Commandments and profaned His Holy Days and Sabbaths. If you really 'believed' in Jesus you would follow Him and not run after your own understanding & falsely reason the Law to be abolished.

@McSLaughterxxx Mark of the beast will not be a computer chip. It will be a real mark to distinguish the true followers of God from the unbelievers and blasphemers. But these "true" followers will be the followers of false prophet and false Christ -the Antichrist. The blasphemers will be the true Christians, and the will be persecuted. If you take the mark, you will have no choice but to participate in killing innocent Christians. God bless and help us all when that time comes
