UPDATE: August 2010 - 2 year ago...It's fun looking back at this video...I have come a long way since then! I stopped wearing shoes while using kettlebells a short time after I shot this. Also, I eventually graduated from using my webcam to film! In addition, I fell in love with triathlon and realized just how effective kettlebells are in one's overall performance. Always be progressing! :)

I'm using a pair of 8kilo (17.6 lb) kettlebells, and this is my 2nd round of the circuit. The first round kicked my butt, so you can imagine what this one was like! First round = 4:30min and second round was roughly 4 minutes (I think I wanted to just be done)!!! Got the idea for this sequence from a video by Anthony DiLuglio. Kettlebells rock!
Exercises:
Renegade Row x 5 ea
Double Swing x 10
Alternating Cleans x 5 ea
Reverse Lunge w/Contralateral Overhead Press x 5 ea
Double Squat to Single Leg Deadlift/Clean x 5 ea
Alternating Snatch to Windmill x 5 ea
Slo-Mo Mountain Climbers x 5 ea

  • I'm curious to know what this routine will do. i.e., hypertrophy, strength, power, endurance? Seems like power to me, but it seems to have strength--with the few reps--and endurance--as the circuit is continuous--involved.
